Wright Brothers Contracting Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to support our construction operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are properly received, organized, and distributed to active job sites. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction warehouse environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare and stage materials for daily job site deliveries
• Receive shipments and verify quantities against packing slips
• Organize warehouse inventory (pipes, fittings, valves, hardware, etc.)
• Maintain clean and safe warehouse environment
• Assist in tracking inventory and reporting low stock items
• Label and store materials properly
• Assist field crews with tool and material requests
• Operate pallet jack or forklift (if certified)
• Assist with deliveries to job sites as needed
• Remove trash, scrap materials, and keep yard organized
• Support general warehouse and yard maintenance

Safety Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Wear PPE (gloves, boots, safety vest)
• Report damaged tools or unsafe conditions

Physical Requirements (Important to include)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Stand, bend, and move throughout shift
• Work in indoor and outdoor conditions

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Construction or warehouse experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing/mechanical materials is a plus
• Forklift experience a plus
• Valid driver’s license preferred
